Major Work Design Assignment
- At the end of the assessment each student should have a clear understanding of the piece they want to create with a lot of the information about the aspects of the piece
This task will be completed in two phases: (1) A brainstorming design (2) oral presentation.
Task:
- Each student is required to present an oral presentation to the class of their design for the major work.
- Each student is to create something that they deem to be a personally inspiring project.
- Each design piece should be able to be built by only the individual attempting the woodwork piece within the given time frame of his year 12 major work.
Step 1:
Each student will create a brainstorming mind map like the one completed in Task 1 using Padlet. This mind map is to show project inspiration through images, sketches and annotations. The students must also discuss the joinery and finishing techniques (Similar to Task 2) and how they are incorporating it into their own design.
